Dipak Jobalia

Dipak Jobalia has been a single family developer since the 1970’s.  Upon moving to the United States from India to earn his Masters in Business Administration, Dipak embarked on starting his own underground site development business.  During the late 1970’s and early 1980’s Mr. Jobalia and his company Jobalia Construction was one of the largest underground utility contractors in Central Florida.

Since selling Jobalia Construction in 1984 Mr. Jobalia has solely focused on investing in single family communities and entered the home building business for a few years in the 1980’s.  Mr. Jobalia has developed over 10,000 residential lots and built over 500 homes in the area.

In addition to the residential land development and home building business Mr. Jobalia has invested in limited service hotels throughout the South Eastern portion of the country.  He has developed brand ranging from Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express to Marriott Fairfield Inn and Hilton Garden Inn.  In addition to the hospitality business, Mr. Jobalia has successfully been involved in the formation of three local community banks.  Each bank was sold to larger financial institutions for a substantial gain.

Mr. Jobalia resides in Ormond Beach with his wife and is an avid golfer and globetrotter.

Anand Jobalia

Anand Jobalia has been a resident of Volusia County since 1979: the year he was born!  Anand grew up beachside and graduated from Seabreeze High School in 1997.  After high school he moved to Atlanta, GA to earn a degree in Economics and Finance from Emory University.

After spending 3 years in Chicago working as a real estate investment banker and at a private equity fund Anand moved back to join his family business in 2004.  Since 2004 Anand has been an active investor/developer of real estate in our community.  Ranging from single family residential communities to ocean front hotels Anand has been active in bringing new development to our area.

Post the great recession Anand and his partners were able to buy ocean front hotels at greatly discounted prices.  After extensively renovating the hotels, Anand and his partners created 2 new boutique hotels in Ormond Beach: the first of it’s type in many years.  Subsequently, he has gone on to work on numerous hotel and single family developments around the state but his main focus still remains Volusia/Flagler county.

Anand and his wife Dr. Reena Sachdev are residents of Daytona Beach Shores. Reena is a dermatologist practicing at Ormond Beach Dermatology. Together, when they aren’t working, they spend all of their free time raising their 3 year old daughter Maya and 18 month old son Arian.

Anand and Reena are both active members of the Margarita Society of Volusia County.  They share a passion in educating our youth.  If Anand ever has a free moment, you can definitely find him out on the golf course or tennis courts as he is passionate about playing both sports.

Kevin Hines

Kevin Hines is currently General Manager and Project Manager for New Construction and Reimaged properties. He is currently overseeing the Hyatt Palm Springs, which is going under a $25-30m renovation beginning in early 2020. Hines’ extensive hospitality operations background, along with his construction and architectural experience, have made him a perfect fit for this project. Hines has been working with Azul Hospitality Group, San Diego since 2016 when he was chosen for the Daytona Beach project, a 2-year deep complete renovation and rebrand of a distressed property, which ultimately opened as the new Hard Rock Hotel. Hines has worked on many other projects for Azul including the Aloft-Denver, Moxy-San Diego, Le Meridien-Indianapolis, Courtyard-San Diego, The Nolen-San Diego, Sheraton-Carlsbad, and Villa Capri-San Diego. Hines works well with local governing agencies to obtain the necessary permitting and approvals, as well as collaborating with partner architecture, construction and design teams.

Hines has extensive experience with both branded and independent luxury and resort properties, having held General Manager and Director positions at the St Regis Deer Valley, St Regis New York, Surf & Sand Resort Laguna Beach, Copper Mountain Resort Colorado, Ironstone Vineyards Murphys, and Staples Center Los Angeles to name a few. Hines’ experience in managing hospitality properties has not only encompassed the operational side, but has also included his background in architecture and construction as he took the lead on projects from complete restaurant renovations to full remodeling of guest room floors. Hines has become a particular specialist in struggling properties, using his financial acumen and experience to find innovative ways to cut costs, improve staff productivity and increase revenue. Hines has also played a role serving Daytona county commissions, overseeing tourist tax dollar spending budgets.

Hines cut his teeth in the Food and Beverage divisions of large resorts, and ultimately expanded his role into General Manager positions as he progressed through his career. His education has allowed him to have a rewarding hospitality career that has also encompassed his love of architectural design, and furthered his education in large project construction methods.

Hines currently resides in Ormond Beach Florida, he is an avid wine and spirits collector and educator, and spends his free time enjoying the outdoors with his family.

Loucretia Campos

Loucretia Campos is Chief Financial Officer who began her career sweeping newly built homes in western North Carolina in the 1970’s. A daughter of a successful home builder, the entrepreneurial real estate bug hit her at age seven.

Loucretia’s competitive nature landed her a degree in accounting graduating with honors from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, TN followed by her MBA from Stetson University in Deland FL. Loucretia earned her Certified Public Accountant license in the state of Florida while working part time for a local CPA. Discovering his partner quit shortly before tax season, Loucretia found herself on a plane with a laptop from the ice age and managing clients as she traveled to Alaska, Maine, New York, Alabama, Ohio, and New York.

Loucretia worked in Volusia County for the largest private apartment owner for 18 years. An expert in multi-family housing, she successfully managed 3,000 units and leveraged $100 million including non-recourse debt. Her financial infrastructures have continued to successfully support multiple real estate transactions including over $200 million of acquisitions and sales where her experience proved itself as she rewrote financial statements to industry compliant and changed a company’s long-term growth strategy to a successful short-term buy and sell strategy in 24 months.

You can find Loucretia working in her yard most weekends where she lives with her son, Vincent. She enjoys traveling and spending time in North Carolina with her family.
